As of 2019 and 2020, the media industry gave us some of the best drama serials. However, the buzz around the Pakistani Dramas 2021 has been nerve-wracking. From Alif, Pyar k Sadqay, Mushk, Sabaat, Ruswai to Cheekh all the dramas kept us hooked (I named just a few).
We are halfway through 2021 already in the middle of July and the Pakistani TV industry has yet again triumphed in making iconic content for the viewers this year too. So, if you cannot decide what to watch in your vacations, here I have got you sorted.
Chupke Chupke
We have been bowled over by the cast of Chupke Chupke that stars the gorgeous Ayeza Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, Mira Sethi , Ali Sethi, Ali Safina and Asma Abbas amongst others.
The script is super witty and exciting and is a breath of fresh air among all the saas-bahu and sad typical dramas. The serial went on air in Ramadan and won the hearts of viewers as expected.
The drama revolves around the story of two families that are related to have their occasional moments of fun,laughter, jealousy,anger and a lot of melodrama between the grandmothers. This drama is a win-win serial and you are missing out on a lot if you have not watched it yet.
Raqs-e-Bismil
Raqs-e-Bismil put forward the extremist side of the people who bend Islamic teachings according to their own knowledge. Moosa (fabulously played by Imran Ashraf) is a hard heated man claiming to be a preacher of Islam. The hypocrisy of his character is also evident and viewers can see how he thinks his values are greater and better than others. Moosa forcefully stops her cousin from marrying because it was a love marriage and later the girl curses him to fall in love with someone he couldn’t find happiness with.
Moosa dreams of marrying someone who’s a reflection of a religious woman. When he first saw Zohra in a veil, he was attracted to her. He later came to know that Zohra is an escort but couldn’t find the escape of her first sight.
The drama features the versatile Imran Ashraf Awan and the prettiest Sarah Khan. The drama is an ideal watch to understand the double standards of society. A very important issue has been addressed in a very mature manner. The drama went on air on hum tv last month and earned huge appreciation from the audience.
Raqeeb Se
Written by the ultra-talented Bee Gul , raqeeb se also features a stellar cast with Iqra Aziz, Sania Saeed, Noman Ijaz, Faryal Mehmood Raheel and Hadiqa Kiyani who made her TV debut with this drama.
The name of the drama is taken from Faiz Ahmad Faiz’s poem and as the name implies is a great work of art.
The first episode was enough to create a buzz and grab the attention of the audience.
The drama is about a couple who got separated twenty years ago and now under odd circumstances comes face to face with each other. We have not seen anything like this before on our tv screens, and we are looking forward to how the story unfolds as the serial is still airing.
Pehli Si Mohabbat
The story of this drama revolves around love, emotions, madness and attachment of two lovers. It is not a typical love story, and the stellar cast makes it more interesting. The leads in the drama are Shehryar Munawar and Maya Ali , the duo which also paired for a movie earlier and gained huge praise. Ace designer Hassan Shehryar Yaseen (HSY) also made his acting debut with the serial and it also features the fearless Rabia Butt.
Sheheryar Munawar as Aslam plays an appealing and passionate role, who madly falls in love with a girl and faces some tragic incident. The story revolves around how the lovebirds face the toughest of circumstances in having each other for life.
It is a strong game of expressions and how the impossible is made possible while bravely fighting all the way.Drama is directed by Anjum Shahzad, Written by Faiza Ifthikhar, and Produced by Abdullah Seja and IDream Entertainment. The drama airs on ARY and is a very interesting show to watch.
Khuda aur Mohabbat Season 3
Geo TV’s Khuda aur Mohabbat is an acclaimed serial which has broken many records and one of the best pakistani dramas 2021.
The popular Pakistani drama is full of spiritual and romantic series. The drama stars the talented Iqra Aziz and Feroze Khan in the lead. It is a sequel of the serial Khuda aur Mohabbat after the season 1 and 2 of the drama garnered huge success and popularity among the audience.
Feroze plays the role of a young man who is middle class and falls in love with the royal richest girl. The story is the same as the previous two seasons but is created differently for the viewers to enjoy.
If you are someone who loves romantic-spiritual stories you ought to watch this show.
