Increase Of COVID Cases In UK

From the last few months, the UK has eased its lockdown restrictions after the citizens got vaccinated. The residents were allowed to go out without masks. But they had to maintain social distancing. Moreover, flights to other countries were also banned. No one is allowed to travel in and out of the United Kingdom. They were reporting fewer cases. In the latest news, UK has announced another 25,161 new cases of Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. That 24-hour period is bringing the change in the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country to 6,094,243, regarding official figures released on Monday.

The UK has also noted the new number of deaths within 28 days. There are 37 more deaths in the country associated with Covid-19. The total number of deaths in the UK has now raised to 130,357. These numbers only involve the deaths of people who died after they were first tested positive for the virus.

Almost 90% of the adult residents of the UK have had their first jab. However, nearly 75% have had their second dose of vaccine.

According to the survey performed by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), a good change in attitude is seen among the young generation. Earlier in the year, people were hesitant to get vaccinated. This attitude has changed for good. Statistics show that between June 13 and July 18, people aged between 16-17 are willingly getting vaccinated. The hesitancy among people has decreased from 14% to 11%.

According to a study on the residents aged from 18 to 21, the hesitation to get immunized has decreased down from nine percent to five percent. Talking of the decrement among those aged between 22-25, we have seen a slight fall from 10% to 9%.

Despite a fall in numbers, the citizens of London endure the most vaccinated doubtful regions of Britain.

According to ONS, around 11 percent of people aged 50 and above were not vaccinated. This makes up almost twice the number of non-immunized people present in any other English district. This date was released at the end of June 2021.

The world is trying to get rid of Covid-19. Every country is trying out ways to bring back life to normal. For this purpose, vaccinations, as well as preventions, are important.
