The media industry has started to flourish in the country. It is a good sign as it can take our country to new heights of success. For this purpose, a new educational institute is being established in the state that is working for the development and promotion of the media industry in the state.
According to a local news network, this initiative was announced by Fawad Chaudary, the Minister of Federal Information. The national media workshop organized in Islamabad had the opportunity to talk to the Minister. He said, “Today, we can’t win wars with weapons, but with digital media”. He further added that we are living in an era where public opinions matter the most. “Pakistan has rendered seventy thousand lives in the war on terrorism but has not written anything about it yet,” the Minister said.
The minister gave us the good news that the university will not be like the usual ones we already have. It will educate the students and provide them with skills in the fields of animation, cinematography, visual effects, and filmmaking.
“Over 1,500 internships will be given to media persons in the country,” the Minister said.
Another project was launched by the government to digitalize the media organization of the state. Like the Associative Press of Pakistan, Pakistan Television, Radio Pakistan, and the Digital Media Wing.
The government is trying to take up the nation to the next level. It is paving the way for the young generation to get into the not-so-common fields that go against the norms of society. This is a great initiative as it will allow the young generation to polish their skills. The youth of this nation is talented enough to make the nation proud.
