In the latest news from the technology field, google is shutting down the built-in voice controllers in Android. Google is detaching the feature of android as soon as people will update their phones with the Android 12 software.
If anyone is looking for a driving-friendly interface for their Android phones, they will have to use Google Assistant’s driving mode which is accessible within Google Maps in the place of Android’s built-in voice controller for driving. The users can also use an alternate way which is the Android Auto interface available in select cars.
The tech giant passed a statement that users of the Android Automobile app would lead them to shift to the Google Assistant driving mode, Apple insider said. The changeover came even after the tech giant was under attack for admitting that Google Assistant records the user’s voice without them knowing.
The transformation will start with Android 12. Google stated that the experience for all Android users who are using Android Auto in compatible cars will remain the same. The Google Assistant will be the only connection that drivers would be able to use on their phones after the software 12.
The announcement for releasing the Google Assistant driving mode was made in 2019. When this announcement was made the tech giant initially stated that it would cease Android Auto, but later they changed their statement and launched a dedicated app that is a shortcut to the old Android Auto app. It is now factory-installed on all Android devices that run Android 10 and all the above phone models.
After the report for XDA Developers, the company confirmed the discontinuity of the Android Auto. It was revealed that some users are now receiving the message in their Android Auto app which says that the service is only available for phone screens and encouraged the users to shift to Google Assistant driving mode.
Where Google is removing the Android Auto feature, it is providing you with many new unexpected changes. Once the Android 12 is launched it will leave all the Android users surprised. A very latest version of Google will be introduced, it will bring a variety for you to use multi-instance support and a window manager to Google Chrome to Android. Users can tap on the “new window” option, a new chrome would be displayed on another half of the screen. The users will have no tab limit but can have a limit of five tabs open in total.
