On Tuesday, the federal cabinet approved the import of one million tonnes of wheat an impression to satisfy the country’s increasing commodities need.

In the press, President Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry told reporter Imran Chaudhry that the ballooning population has granted authorization for importing additional wheat.

He stated that Aslam Khan was appointed president of Pakistan International Airlines during the meeting (PIA). He said that he postponed the decision of the Sukkur Electric Power company to issue banned weapons licenses and appointed the CEO.

Fawad also stated the cabinet agreed to the draught of the Bill 2021 for Encroachment on Public Property and to select the executive director of the National Commission for Professional Training.

He added that the government will introduce a new law to remove invasions of its costly property.

The minister of information stated a new law was introduced to assist the government in taking custody of federal property. “The law would be able to reclaim the land of railways, abandoned waqf land and other federal institutions,” Chaudhry added.

Cabinet also agreed, among other choices, to nominate Aslam Khan to be the next PIA President.
