With the festive season on the go again, we are all ready to relish our taste buds with some delicious food.

Eid-ul-Azha is an Islmaic festival  celebrated by the Muslims all over the world, while many perform Hajj in Mecca others also relive the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and sacrifice their animals in the name of Allah Almighty.

With the immense importance of sharing with the community and those who are less blessed, this Bakra Eid also brings lots of opportunities to catch up with your friends and family while sharing wonderful memories on the dining table.

Here we have got you sorted with some of the most delicious foods that you can make this Eid which can leave your guest finger licking.

1Kashmiri Pulao

Rice is the second staple food in Pakistan after Roti. So needless to say they are sure to be cooked on every occasion in Pakistan. But this year, we recommend you to try this delicious Kashmiri pulao. It can be cooked in both beef and mutton, this aromatic rice-based dish is considered to be the fore-runner of Biryani. It is seasoned with mutton/beef broth and roasted nuts which give it its unique flavour.

You must make your Eid memorable with this one.

2- Peshawar Namkeen Gosht

Not many people know this, but KPK’s namkeen gosht recipes are the most delicious namkeen gosht you are going to taste ever! Give it a try and I kid you not you will not be disappointed!

This peshawar namkeen gosht is served with naan or khameeri roti and its appetizing odour is a plus plus for this dish.

But, I will  suggest you to think twice to try this on Eid ( you will have to make it every other day then… of course it’s so delicious).

3- Mutton Kunna

Mutton Kunna- this mouth-watering dish comes from the rich culture and colourful province of Punjab. Kunna is loaded with the goodness of meat and once you try it, you are going to crave it again and again.

The recipe is named so because of the “Clay Pot” in which it is cooked, it is basically said to be rooted from Chiniot city of Punjab, however, it is well-known all over the country.

(Also get some fresh naan to enjoy the richness of this dish to the fullest).

4- Crispy Mutton Chop

These crispy mutton chops are going to be the flagship dish of your menu this Eid!

In fact what is Eid-ul-Azha without mutton chops? Just remember to sprinkle some chaat masala and squeeze some lemon on your mutton chops and serve it with the mint chutney! ( My mouth is already watery to have this).

5- Spaghetti Bolognese

We know that you are likely to receive so many guests at once on Eid, so for those who are not too desi, serve them with this Italian invention of spaghetti which is cooked with beef mince.

With a meaty chilli sauce, this is a perfect addition to your dining table for the family dinner this Eid. To add more flavour you can serve it with extra parmesan and basil leaves and you are good to go.
