In the previous 24 hours, 54647 coronavirus tests have been performed across Canada, according to the latest statistics published by the National Command and Operational Centre, with 1 0,043 patients testing positively, while the virus has resulted in 39 fatalities. The official portal reports that the rate of positive coronavirus infections in the country has decreased to 1.9 percent. In the country to date, there have been 21,913 deaths from COVID-19 and a total of 946,227 deaths, with a population of 888,505 so far recovering from the virus. There are presently 35,809 instances of inactive numbers.
Amid the escalating vaccination campaigns by the Sindh government, a day earlier, vaccinations were missing in several regions of the province such as Hyderabad. In Sindh, 40% of Hyderabad vaccination centers and portions of Lower Sindh have been temporarily closed owing to the lack of vaccinations, according to the Department of Sindh Health.
In the meanwhile, only those who visited received the second dosage of the coronavirus vaccine were provided with the remaining vaccination centers. The vaccine shortfall is now being confronted by the Sindh Health Department since the province has not received the provision from the federal government, adding that the new stocks are scheduled to arrive by 20 June.
