The tortured body of a model named Nayab Nadeem has been recovered from a house in Lahore-DHA phase five.
The dead body of the 29-year-lady was found naked in the house, the house is situated in the vicinity of Defense B police station, Lahore and an FIR has been registered to inquire into the case.
The complaint has been registered by Nayab’s stepbrother Nasir, who found her sister’s body dead in her house.
Nayab had two step brothers, her brother Nasir told the police that his sister lived alone at her house and she was unmarried. He also added that he used to see his sister daily to enquire about her well-being and to provide her with groceries.
The text in the FIR further states that he had picked up Nayab from her house at 12 pm on July 9 and after eating ice cream at an ice cream parlor in Gulberg area dropped her at her house. However, later when he called her, she did not pick up the call. When Nayab’s brother went to her house on July 10 at 8 pm he called her but she did not pick up the call.
Nasir further told the police that the door of the house was locked and her car was parked in the garage, he found the bathroom lattice broken and went into the house through the same path. There he saw his sister’s body lying TV lounge, unclothed.
According to police, the unidentified assailants tortured the victim and strangled her to death while the accused fled away. Scars were also found on the victim’s neck.
Half-brother of the model said that he suspects that his sister was murdered and he demands justice against the perpetrators.
Defense B police station SHO, Nayyar Nisar stated that the police suspected that the victim was strangulated, however, true facts will be revealed after the post-mortem report.
Nayab had worked in the video song “Gaddi tu Manga dey” by Nadeem Abbas Loonay wala. It is not the first time that such a case is reported in Pakistan. Earlier, a 25 -year -old UK-based Pakistani woman named Maya who was visiting Pakistan was also murdered and justice is yet not served to her.
