Mehwish Hayat is a name known to all of us. She is a star of Pakistan. She is not only a spectacular actress but also a model and a rising singer for the industry. She has been an inspiration for many through her versatile acting and unique performances. Being able to receive the most prestigious civilian award of Pakistan, the “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” is one of her many achievements. She earned this for her excellent contribution in the media industry, for delivering back-to-back blockbuster dramas and movies. Her extraordinary performances in projects like “Dillagi”, “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” were appreciated all over the country. Furthermore, projects like “Actor in Law” and “Load Wedding” highlighted social issues such as minority discrimination, flawed law system, dowry system, and Mehwish gave noteworthy performances in all of them.

Mehwish’s success was not acceptable by many and so she received heavy criticism for her accomplishments. It is not new that the public has put themselves as critiques. Speaking of which, a recent picture of Mehwish from her vacation received major backlash from people. The moral police did not want to miss an opportunity to give their thoughts.

Mehwish posted a rather bold picture of herself, enjoying her holidays at Mauritius Island. The picture was taken from behind her and showed her chilling beside a pool. The netizens did not spare her as always. They went to all extremes to show their moral responsibility to police the actress. A few of them can be seen below:

It is sad to know how the public would humiliate and character assassinate celebrities, influencers, and popular personalities just because they have different lifestyles and are simply living their lives the way they want to. We need to do better as a society and stop with the judgments. It should not bother us how someone decides to spend their lives or how they chose to dress. We need to have a better mentality to prosper as a nation.
