BTS Releases Its First Ever ARMY Playlist of Solo

BTS which is also known as the Bangtan Boys is a South Korean boy band comprising of seven members that began formation in 2010 and made their debut in 2013. Originally a hip hop group, their musical group has evolved into a number of different genres. Their lyrics are often centred upon troubles of school age, personal and social commentary and themes of mental health. Their work features psychological concepts with the concept of an alternative universe story line.

BTS became the fastest group to earn four US number -one albums doing so in less than two years. It also made history by becoming the first South-Korean group to reach number one on the Billboard Global 200 and US Billboard Hot 100. Also, with their single “ dynamite” which also received Grammy nomination it became the first group to have three number debuts on HOT 100.

BTS is the best-selling artist in South Korean history and holds the best-selling album in South Korea, they are also the first and the only Asian and non-English speaking act to be named the IFPI Global Recording artist of the Year.

This history making act was formed on 9th July in 2013.

Happy eighth birthday to the BTS army!

To embark the special day of their fans on Friday ( July 9) from Korea, the K-pop super group set the mood just by stewarding a seven-track playlist featuring  a solo sung by each member. The 10 minute long video of the playlist features a short video of each member behind the song singing along to their lyrics in front of a colorful backdrop.

The “ARMY Playlist” includes RM’s single “Bicycle” from Festa 2021; “Abyss, the song Jin released on his 28th birthday last year; “Snow Flower” by V (feat. Peakboy), which dropped on Christmas Day last year before V’s 25th birthday; Jung Kook’s first solo release “Still With You;” “Hope World” by j-hope, the title track of his debut mixtape; “People” by Agust D

(Suga’s alias) from his sophomore mixtape D-2; and “Filter” by Jimin from BTS’ Billboard 200 No. 1 album Map of the Soul: 7.
