Early life of Aima Baig:

Aima Baig is a Pakistani singer and scriptwriter. She is considered amongst the most gorgeous and promising singers of Pakistan. She is one of the prettiest feminine singers of media industry. Baig was born on 10^thJanuary, 1989 in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan.

Education of Aima Baig:

Baig went to University of Lahore from where she received her bachelor’s degree in film and television.

Personal Life of Aima Baig:

Aima Baig was brought up in Oman and her father is an electrical engineer by profession. She has three siblings including two sisters and a brother with herself being the fourth sibling. Aima Baig shares a beautiful bond with her siblings and frequently talks about them on social media. Her sister Komal Baig also works as her manager. Her other two siblings are named Nida and Wajahat.

The starlet lost her mother in 2017 who succumbed to the disease after fighting with it for six long years. Following the loss of her mother, Aima Baig dedicated her life to the cancer patients and she is working actively with Shaukhat Khanam Memorial Hospital and Research Centre for charity.

Engagement:

Aima Baig announced her engagement with Shahbaz Shigri who is an actor, on 21^st March, 2021.Both are often seen expressing love for each other on social media.

The actor is also relatives with Mubasher Lucman, who is her uncle. Mubasher Lucman is a Pakistani film director, anchorperson and former caretaker provincial assembly. Aima Baig has sung a cover of “Summer wine” with him and has also written the script for his next film.

Aima Baig’s Career:

Since her childhood, Aima Baig was fervent enough about singing and her passion for singing made her a well -known singer of the country. The vocalist started her career back in 2014 by way of sharing a few of her unique songs on sound cloud which got her fame on social media. She was also a part of the famous comedy show Mazaaq Raat hosted by Vasay Chaudhry broadcasted on Dunya news, where she worked with some of the legendary comedians of entertainment industry. Aima Baig was an eye candy for the show. She also appeared in many morning shows as a guest.

In 2015, the starlet performed  with her uncle Mubashar Lucman at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Centre for “Sing a song- save a life” campaign. The main mission of this campaign was to accumulate funds for cancer patients. Aima’s mother who was also a cancer patient also actively took part in the campaign to save the lives of other cancer patients who could not afford the treatment. This campaign got the name “Summer Wine” and influenced the Showbiz industry a lot.

In 2016, she released many sound tracks and many famous and well-known sound tracks are attributed to her till then.

“Kalabaz Dil”, “Befikriyan”, “Ehl e Dil”, “ Balu Mahi”, “Chan vay”, “Item number”, “Sajna Door” are some of her most popular works. She has worked with the finest singers of the country and has sung many songs for the television as well.

In 2017, she appeared in coke studio. “Baazi” with Sahir Ali Bagga, “Malang” and “Hum Dekhengay” are some of her popular Coke studio work.

Aima Baig has also released many singles for which she made her debut single with Nane hathon main Qalam for ISPR. Her latest singles include Groove mera with Naseebo Laal, and “Aik Qaum Aik Manzil” with Ali Zafar.

The singer has also sung covers for numerous songs which are all a major hit.

Aima Baig has won Best female playback singer Lux style award for her song “ Kalabaaz Dil” in 2017. She also received Best female playback singer “Galaxy Lollywood Award” for her songs “ Kalabaaz Dil”, “ Kaif o saroor” and “Item number”. She was also awarded “Tamgha e Fakhr e Imtiaz” in August,2019.
