The easiest part of it is the fact that all of the ingredients for the remedies will be found easily in your homes, in your kitchen cabinet, or in your medicine box. So let us get started.

Gram Flour and Yogurt Mask 

Starting with one of my personal favorites and highly recommended remedies, this easy yet amazing mask makes your skin glowy. All you need is gram flour, yogurt, and turmeric powder (optional).

  1. Gram flour 2 tbsp
  2. Yogurt 2 tbsp
  3.  A pinch of turmeric

Mix these ingredients in a bowl and apply them to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes or until it dries. Wash it off in a circular motion with lukewarm water. Your skin will not only feel clean but also smooth.

Coconut Oil 

Coconut oil is everyone’s favorite when it comes to supple and glowing skin. Coconut oil has some essential fatty acids that deeply hydrate your skin. It is a natural moisturizer. Moreover, it has anti-inflammatory properties which make it a lifesaver for damaged, irritated skin. The best way to use it is like a nighttime face cream. Apply the coconut oil all over your face and massage thoroughly for a few minutes. Remove the upper thicker layer with tissue. Now that you have a thin layer of it, leave it overnight. You should be consistent with this one if you are to see some good results. 

Coconut Face Mask

The benefits of coconut do not seem to end. So, we have here an easy-to-make face mask at your service. Take a spoonful of melted virgin coconut oil, few drops of lemon juice (skip if you have sensitive skin), a teaspoon of raw manuka honey, and a pinch of turmeric. Leave this one on for approximately 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water for glowing skin. 

Aloe Vera Mask

Aloe vera is said to be a holy grail for glowing skin. It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that will protect your skin and keep it healthy. Out of the hundreds of benefits, it has on the body, one of them is leaving you with glowing skin. Here we have for you another easy face mask to try out.

Take 1 tbsp of Multani mitti (fuller’s earth), 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel, and cold milk. If you are allergic to dairy, replace it with rose water. Mix all the ingredients and apply them to your face. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with normal water. 

Cucumber 

Cucumber is one of our favorites when it comes to hydration. It is 96% composed of water. It has many benefits to the body and the skin. It is very helpful in reducing puffiness and swellings of the face. Furthermore, it slows down the process of aging. 

In today’s world, we believe in applying food to our face rather than consuming it. It is an easier and more fun way. So, we have yet another easy face mask containing two of the best ingredients one can find in their homes. All you need is: 

  • 1 teaspoon cucumber juice
  • 2 teaspoons Aloe vera gel
  • A few drops of rose oil (optional)

Mix all these ingredients in a bowl and apply them to your face. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water.

Oatmeal and Honey

For those who have acne-prone skin, this one will do the job for you. Blend an unpeeled cucumber. Add in its juice 1 tbsp oatmeal and stir. Then add 1 tbsp of honey and mix it until it becomes smooth. Apply this mask to your face for 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat it dry with a soft cloth.

Figs 

Figs are a well-known fruit for their benefits on the body as well as the skin. Mash 2 figs in a bowl and add a little milk so that it becomes a smooth paste. Rub this natural scrub on your face for a few minutes and wash it off with water. Figs act as natural toxin removals. It will free your skin from sebum build-up and pollutants. 

Papaya 

Papaya is a spectacular fruit that has numerous benefits for the skin as well as the body. An easier way to use papaya for your face is:

  • two teaspoons aloe vera gel  
  • two-three pieces of ripe papaya 
  • two teaspoons of rose water

Mash the papaya into a smooth paste, add the rest of the ingredients and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water.

Sandalwood 

Sandalwood is naturally anti-oxidant and one of the finest ingredients you would want to put on your skin. It fights acne, bacteria, light, and stan and helps to soothe sunburn. For the sandalwood facemask, you need rose water, 1 tbsp sandalwood powder, and 1 tbsp aloe vera gel. Make a smooth paste of it and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash with cool water.

Avocado 

Lastly, here we have an easy remedy for you. Our favorite fruit, avocado, is beneficial for that dry, flaky skin. Mash an avocado in a bowl and apply it directly to clean skin. Wash it off with milk first for that extra boost of hydration and then with water. Here you have that supple, glowing skin that feels amazing.
